These days that name does ring a very loud bell!! So I was quite shocked to see this name in a book I picked up.
Yesterday, I went into this bookstore in Bangalore and the first book that caught my eye was titled I Dared To Call Him Father. For several months I have been wanting to read this book but didn’t get around to borrowing it from my prayer centre’s library. So I bought this book and finished reading it in 3 hours. There are many times in my walk with God that I wonder where He is and if He has heard my prayers, especially those that have not been answered after a long period of time. The thought came to me, however, that my time of feeling like God has forgotten me is like winter time for a tree. The tree may look dead because the branches are completely bare of leaves, fruit, or blossoms. The fact is, though, that the branches are still very much alive.
