Letters from Bill
My thoughts on various aspects of the Christian life expressed as letters to my brothers and sisters in Christ. These are not the thoughts of a theologian or ordained minister but those of an everyday Christian like you. I welcome your comments and discussion.

Conversation with Chris
Sit with my wife,Chris, in the garden and reflect upon the life spent in fellowship with the Lord. Like me, Chris is an everyday Christian who loves to share what is on her heart and mind. Spend some time meditating on the goodness of God as you enjoy His company in the serene environment of the garden.

Amplified Promises
God’s promises to you and me presented in the rich language of the Amplified Bible. Meditate on these promises and use them as the basis for praise and thanksgiving to our gracious heavenly Father. Praying Scripture is one of my favorite things to do when speaking with the Lord and the Amplified Bible is my favorite version for doing that with its rich vocabulary containing all the meanings and nuances not possible in word-for-word translations. Speak God’s Word back to Him and claim the promises He has given you.

short takes
Contains spur-of-the-moment thoughts I’ve had about something I’ve read or heard or seen. These random thoughts may be enlarged upon in Letters from Bill or they may not. I just wanted some place to put them.

Parenting Resources
Help for the guidance and direction of your children — the next generation and your most important ministry. Whatever the age of the child, you will find resources to help you in this important task.

Family Fun Resources
From face painting to crafts, and planning a family vacation, you’re sure to find something to give you some fun with your kids! Build some memories with your family that they — and you — will cherish for a lifetime!

Home Schooling Resources
Whether or not you home school, on this page you will find a number of resources for supplementing your child’s education. There are books and other materials, including entire curricula. Who knows? As you help your children, you may even learn something new yourself!

Home Business Resources
More and more individuals and families are building their own businesses at home to supplement, and even replace, their current primary income. You will find businesses of all types, and perhaps find a new means of ministering as well. ________________________________________________________________________________________

This is an exceptionally well-designed web site, easy to navigate with lots of interesting links. It is written in a clear and simple style that is not as common as it use to be and is certainly a relief from the overblown rhetoric of many blogs.

Today I looked at Abeka and Alpha Omega curriculums as well as some others. I’ll be adding links to them in the Home Schooling Resource page in the next few days.
