What is [everyday]* Christianity?
![]()
As our site header says, [everyday]* Christianity is “living in the covenant of perpetual grace.” That means they interact in the world–in their work, family life, parenting, schooling, and social life while maintaining a vital spiritual life. Our main purpose is to minister to other [everyday]* Christians through articles and videos, as well as other resources, for spiritual growth, inspiration, and encouragement for living the Christian life day by day.
As an [everyday]* Christian you are ”in” the world but not “of ” it. For that reason, we also offer resources for living in the day-to-day world from a Christian perspective. That is why you find information on parenting, home business, home schooling, and family life, and other topics which are of interest to Christians. For you, there is no wall between your spiritual and secular lives. Each day is a continuing walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we invite Him and involve Him in all our interests and activities. For example, you will find here resources for vocal training and learning to play the guitar and piano. These subjects may be of interest to you as a hobby, as a business, or in developing the gifts God has given you for praise and worship ministry.
But what is this “living day by day in the covenant of perpetual grace?” [everyday]* Christians live continuously and forever in the grace bestowed as a free gift when they accepted eternal salvation through Jesus Christ.
Pictured on the items to the left is a perpetual calendar, which symbolizes the “forever” nature of our place in Jesus Christ and His indwelling Holy Spirit within us.
Our relationship with God is NOT about us nor what we have done or can do.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
It is about Jesus and His finished work.
“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17
“But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God… For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” Hebrews 10:12, 14
It is not about the Covenant of the Law but the Covenant of Grace.
“For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1:17
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…” Ephesians 2:4-6
It is about walking in that Grace day by day or, as we say in our site heading, “living day by day in the covenant of perpetual grace.” That’s why we use that strange-looking black circle thing you see above. It”s a perpetual calendar, capable of being updated day by day to register the current date. For us as Christians, the Holy Spirit keeps us perpetually connected to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as we walk in the everyday world.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
Walking in the covenant of grace and Jesus’ finished work means that, after we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord of our life , we become His representatives in the world.
“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might
become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:20-21
It means we represent Him in every part of our daily life–in our relationships, our work, our families, our ministry, our recreation, as well as in our personal walk with Jesus.
Our Savior and Lord Jesus did a wonderful work on our behalf. Jesus has already done everything necessary to redeem you and restore you to sweet fellowship with Him and God the Father. However, His finished work can become real in your life only if you make a personal decision to accept Him.
Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior will not only save you from hell, but also give you health, joy, peace, love, hope, unconditional acceptance, favor, the power to get wealth — every good thing that you can think of and more!

If you would like to accept Jesus and all that He has done for you, say this prayer and mean it from your heart:
Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me and dying for me on the cross. Your precious blood washes me clean of every sin. You are my Lord and my Savior, now and forever. I believe that You rose from the dead and that You are alive today. Because of Your finished work, I am now a beloved child of God and heaven is my home. Thank You for giving me eternal life and filling my heart with Your peace and joy. Amen.
